Team / Sony workers...WE5 settings?

I have this TV and am trying to find the best settings.

Can I save my settings? at the moment, if I put the backlight down to 2 or 3, the nest time I turn on the set it is back at 5?

I want to get it to stay as I want it so I can watch a few different sources and make sure I am happy with the TV.

Standard setting...the Sony Centre way?

Sorry I couldn't help that....

I set mine using a color photo taken on a digtial Nikon that has dark velvet black and skin tone of a beautiful human subject. I find that setting works well with other sources.

The Sony are awesome and if they don't win the 2009 Best TV awards I'll complaint

You need to make sure you select 'Common' as you make the settings if you want them to apply to all sources.

As matthew says,use commen settings and apply to each imput,as you may want to set diffrent settings for each imput.Enjoy your new tv.

Sony WE5 picture settings?

have this week purchased a sony kdl46we5 along with the 360 player. The tv I purchased after reading the review that was posted on site. What I would really like to know is what settings you guys used for watching sky HD & the blu ray. Have had for a few days now & I can't seem to get as good a picture as I was getting with my kdl40w3000. Please help one frustrated viewer.
