Based on your reviews I am considering purchasing the Tannoy Mercury F1 Custom 5.1 speaker system which is priced at around £600-£700 (based on a quick google search). I am also interested in the Kef 2005.3 speakers that are around the same price and would also consider the Q Acoustic 5.1 package that you have also given a 5 star rating.
From the information I have gathered I believe the Tannoy should provide the best sound of the three, and I wonder if you could confirm that this is the case? Home cinema and music sound quality are equally as important so any advise you can give on these speaker systems would be gratefully received. Unfortunately I am unable to get into a shop to listen to all three myself.
I'm looking at getting the Onkyo TXSR607 receiver, although I cannot help thinking that the 606 would be perfectly adequate not to mention £100 cheaper. The creative audio deal of £999 for both the Onkyo TX SR606 and the Tannoys, seems ideal...
