Tannoy Hts101 or Boston Acoustics Soundware XS?

Hi guys just bought a Sony Strdn1050 receiver and trying to decide which of these are the best sounding for overall movie experience. Space is limited so I lean towards the BA xs speakers but are the Hts101 much better?

They both have 5star awards. Just wondered if anyone had first hand experience of hearing them both.

Appreciate any advice.

Great amp! either of these packages will work well. The BA XS Special Edition can be had for £189 from a well know reputable internet seller and they would be my pick.

The BA XS is 'your pick' based on what exactly? Have you listened to both?

Yes, the Tannoy speakers are far superior in terms of scale and power. I have the Tannoy speakers now and also had the Boston XS previously so I can give you a qualified opinion of the choice between the two.

The Boston XS is very tiny, if space is your concern and it is cheaper, yes - but if you value sound quality, then it is a no brainer.
