I brough a pair of Elac BS 253 copact speakers and like the sound. However I would like moe bass and authority to the sound.

I am looking for a subwoofer mostly to use for music. The room is very small, so it must not be too heavy in the bass. It must be easy to integrate.

I've been looking at this subs:

Affordable subs:

SVS SB-1000

Rel T-5

B&W ASW608

More expensive:

B&W PV1D

Ken Kreisel DXD-808

Gallo TR1D

I listen to rap, electronica and bassheavy music.

Thanks for help.

I don't know where you are located. But if you're from England, France or Germany, I would recommend you a BK electronic sub. It's made in this area and is unbeatable good for his price. If you live in "the freedom land of the invasive spies", then the prices you could become for your initial choices will be better.

I like Rel stuf (r-series), but not the T-5. The B&W ASW608 displeased me. I never had the pleasur with SVS subs.

I would check out a B&W PV1...I love mine.

Its not boomy...not at all. Its designed more for tight clean bass...you really wont even notice its there most of the time.

If you want to shake your house I would look maybe at a Velodyne sub.
