SPL Meters wth new AV Receivers

I have tried using my SPL meter to accurately set up my yamaha rvx1900 and found that after doing the auto calibration, then trying to fine tune, the maximum level I can get the SPL to go to is 50. WHF recommend 75, but it the Yamaha just wont allow it.

I have the meter set to Fast and weighting to C.

Any ideas ?????
