Speaker position

Hi every one please can any one help, were on the web can i find a diagram of 5.1 speker position in a room, oblong in shape and the TV in the corner?

Front end is easy - centre under/above the TV, front left and right speakers to either side of the set. Where is/are the viewing position(s), and what are the speakers you'll be using on the rear channels?

The speakers are Mission FS2 NXT Flat speakers, front and rear. The TV is in the corner and the viewing position is along the long wall opposite.................. Hope that helps as i need help!!!!!!

Then rears either end of the wall behind the sofa, mounted a bit above ear level.

Due to the dispersion characteristics of NXT panels, positioning isn't so critical, so they're a very good choice for this less than ideal - but of course very typical - layout.

Was told that the speaker wiring as in the quality of wire is not to important?

Well, I wouldn't use bellwire, but something sensible and affordable such as QED Micro would be more than good enough.

Morning, so Maplin speaker wire is o.k, as i am trying to keep cost's down. Like every one i want a Rolls Royce with Mini Cooper money.
