I'm looking at getting a new smartphone that has HDMI alt mode / display alt mode.
I basically need a wired USB C to HDMI connection not wireless, and I'm confused as to whether USB C 2.0 will stream video to HDMI or does the phone have to be USB C 3.1
I was looking at the Honor x7b, it states it supports screen projection but it also states it's USB C 2.0
It's basically to try to a play a netflix downloaded video from my phone to my caravan tv.
Tv isn't a smart tv, so no wifi, plus we only have mobile internet on our phones, no onsite wifi.
