Do What HI-Fi release the TV settings they use in tests?

It would be a really useful starting point.

Apart from the basic settings colour, contrast , brightness etc I am really at a loss as to how to set my TV up.

Can anyone help?

normally when i see a question like this , id post some settings from the web , but im starting to think that theres no point really , what one person considers a great picture another may not like at all , and each calibration of a tv is room/tv specific , your probably better off getting a calibration disc like "digital video essentials" ...

Does the "digital Video essentials disc do more than the free THX calibration on THX DVD's?
