sony kdl32v4500 or pana th-37px08b

hi, i am thinking of buying one of the following tvs.( sony kdl32v4500 or panasonic th-37px08 ). i will only be using the tv for normal sky tv and dvds.which one should i buy or is there another option i should be looking at . any help would be great. thanks.

imho the panasonic is the way to go,i know v series sonys are getting rave reviews,but for me panasonic plasmas are well worth the outlay.just my opinion.

Yep, definitely the Panasonic. Not a full HD panel therefore closer to the natural (lower) resolution of Standard Definition broadcasts and DVD.

Also, please look at these and other forums for the issues reported with a certain manufacturer.
