Sony BDP- S370 and Onkyo SR606

Hi all,

I have been setting up to watch Blue ray on the above, On the Onkyo display the audio

appears as "PCM Multichannel HDMI"

I know that Avatar comes with DTS Master Audio, should this appear on the Onkyo display panel,

the audio is actually very good and i seem to remember from previous experience that sometimes

although the Onkyo display says what it does the Audio is actually DTS MA is this correct.

hi, been looking through older posts and thanks to funkymonkey have set BD audio mix to off on the Sony andthe receiver now displays DTS M-A thanks

You also want to set the Audio DRC to "wide range". That way the sound will be uncompressed when it reaches the receiver.
