SONY BDP-S 570 Playback problems

Last night the I started having playback problems on the above where the picture kept freezing for a split second. I tried several discs and it happened on each one. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks LG 50px990 , Yahama YSP-2200 , Sky HD/3D, Sony BDP-S570 , ipad, Harmony One

Ran a system update which seems to have fixed the problem.
