Sonos ZonePlayer S5 volume

Hello

I have been looking at alternatives to the Sonos for using Spotify with the idea coming back to the S5 player

How loud is the Sonos say compared to say a Denon micro system with a laptop connected to it? please

I need to buy something next week and have no idea which one to get!!

They go pretty loud, and fairly quiet. I would say their scale is biassed more towards loud. I used to have an old Denon micro system, and I would say the Sonos would eat it for breakfast in terms of volume.
