Should I upgrade my tuner?

I currently have a Denon TU260L II. It's working ok but the display is very erractic. I'm thinking of getting the Denon TU1800DAB, not necessarily for the DAB feature, although obviously I'll give it a go. Mostly listen to Radio 2 :rockout:, or similar local radio stations, maybe a bit of classical :boohoo: now again. Is it worth it or should I look around for another 260?

If you are happy with your existing Denon, a quick search on ebay shows loads of TU260 ll's for sale starting from £15.

Just had a better look ( sorry I'm at work ) and seen some with bids starting from 99p

As I've just put everything on a NAS drive I went for a Denon DNP720AE, network player, in the end as it had FM/AM and Internet radio as well as the normal streaming features.

Unless you must have DAB I would also consider some of the Creek tuners that go for very little these days.

I always rated them higher than the Denon (on SQ alone).

I was looking out for Creek T50 - as rare as hens teeth.
