Hi, first post so hoping someone may be able to help!

I've been reading reviews of TVs for months now, and had settled on getting the Samsung UE48H6400, when i saw it for £599. However, since then the price has popped back up to £650, which is a bit more than I want to spend...

I've since seen that there's the UE48H6240 available in Tesco for £579, however I can't find any information at all about this specific set, other than it doesn't come with the 3D glasses included! I've found some info about the H6200, so i'm wondering if the 6240 is some market specific model?

The reason I mention Tesco is that my father-in-law works for them, so can get me 10% off the price, so i'd be looking at the 6240 for around £520... I guess the question is is the 6400 that much better than the 6240 (or 6200 which i'm guessing is what it really is), that i should wait for it to come down in price again, or just go ahead and get the discounted 6240?!

Apologies for waffling on!

Paul.

It's 200hz not 400hz motion, but they are likely to be the same 60hz pannel anyway. It looks like the cheaper one doesn't have the fancy smart remote with it, but couldn't be sure from the Argos web web page.

Ah, that fancy extra remote, thanks! So i guess the lower rate, and lack of glasses and remote, accounts for most of the price difference between the two.
