Samsung CU7100

Has anyone had any experience with the new Samsung CU7100 series?

I'm looking for a new 4K TV under £500 and I notice that many reviews (including on this site) sing the praises of the AU7100 from 2021. Even 2022's BU8000 was criticised in reviews for underperforming compared to the AU7100. It was suggested that Samsung had gone too cheap and that this decline might be reversed with 2023's CU range...

So has anyone tried the CU7100 yet? I've found a couple of unboxing videos and a video review that was more of a promotional piece but I've not found anything on the quality of this year's model.

Should I risk the CU7100 or stick to the seemingly very reliable AU7100?

Can I assume no one has experienced the Samsung CU7100 yet?

I found a reviewer on Twitter who said that the CU7100 was pretty much the same as the AU7100, just with the latest version of Tizen. I also found a single user review that suggested the speakers were very tinny. So I put that to the Twitter reviewer and he said the speakers weren't amazing but he'd expect it to be used with a sound system anyway...

If anyone does have any insights, I'd love to hear them...

Hi David, I haven't seen the TV in flesh. This is an entry level model which has only recently been released. Older models will undoubtedly give better value for money. Does it have to be a Samsung?

Thanks @bigboss. It doesn't have to be a Samsung but it does have to be within my limited budget (<£500). I was basing my decision on this WHAT HI-FI? review, which rates the 2021 AU7100 highly.

As I mentioned in my original post, I'd heard that build quality had worsened in 2022 models, so I was curious whether this had continued with the 2023 CU7100. But from what I understand, little has changed from the 2021 model.
