Rotel rsx 1550 and Monitor Audio RS speaker packages

I want to change my Yamaha 863 on the Rotel.It will sound good with my MA speakers. For stereo I use my Marantz 8003 amp. I can buy the rotel for 700 punds.

i have the same speakers and also thought of the rotel when my amp change came around. however lots of reports of bright speakers an bright amp put me of as this was what i was trying to get away from. but i have to say that i did not even demo the two together so i may have been wrongly informed. if you can demo the amp at home with your speakers than their is no harm in trying.
