Rega Brio R amp speaker cables

I'm just trying to set up my new system, but I'm confused about what speaker cable to use between my Rega brio R amp and Wharfedale speakers.

Do I need a cable with banana plugs for the amp to plug in or can I just twist a plain wire around the fitting. I can't find any info on this anywhere atall.

You can use banana plugs or just twist a plain wire around the fitting but it is better to use banana plugs .

the regas binding posts unscrew to reveal holes in which you can put bare wires.this is what i do, and it sounds good.
