Recommendation for a small LCD for the bedroom

Not going to be connected to Sky, but Freeview would be a good idea. I'm assuming, at this size, that HD is an utter irrelevance, although almost anything you can buy will be HD nonetheless.

Is there a particular brand to avoid, or does anything go.

And what about size? It's going to be stuck on a wall.

Freeview is a 'good idea' only if you have a decent Digital Terrestrial optimised roof aerial.

Size of screen depends on the viewing distance and what you are happy with.

Somewhere in one of the recent issues of WHF there is a guide for optimum screen size - viewing distance.

We have 22" and 26" televisions in two of our bedrooms (both Samsungs and both excellent).

Something like this would do the job nicely I suspect...

£254 on amazon when I checked just now.

It doesn't have Freeview HD but for 26" that won't really be a concern.
