My home network consists of two Mac Minis, an iMac I7 and a Windows 7 laptop linked to a Netgear DGN2200 router via 500bmit homeplugs. Ideally I want the NAS to link via a spare port on one of the homeplugs, rather than direct to the router, because the router is not in an ideal place.
At the moment all my music is stored on the HDD of one of the Mac Minis, but I want to move it to an external NAS.
I just want something simple that my Macs will see, that I can mount with a script so each computer's iTunes can use it, same as they do now with the Music folder on my Mac Mini which is shared.
