Receiver bass management

I would like to get some advice regarding subwoofer settings when the receiver is handling most of the bass management. I have set all my speakers to 60 Hz and then set the subwoofer low pass filter to out. Will there be any benefit or negative to setting the low pass filter on the sub to in and then set then then the low pass frequency on the sub to 60Hz?

I would have thought you want the amp to control the crossover - so set your sub crossover to off whichever it is out of out or in - low level wiring

If you are running high level as well then you would want the sub crossover on otherwise it will play a full range sound - not what you want.

Unless I have misunderstoof the question
