Years ago I wanted to put some surge protection onto the power supply so went for some done by Supra. Also bout Supra kettle leads for the amps and disc spinners. They work. Do they work better? No idea.
No, sorry, that’s not any “spec”. That’s MCRU’s own write up on the product they sell. 2.5mm thick for each conductor is quite unnecessary and makes it needlessly difficult to connect, and too stiff to route neatly. That’s my experience, but YMMV.
Why spend so much more than the cost of the Belkin equivalent?Years ago I wanted to put some surge protection onto the power supply so went for some done by Supra. Also bout Supra kettle leads for the amps and disc spinners. They work. Do they work better? No idea.
Who?Why spend so much more than the cost of the Belkin equivalent?
Look at my earlier post in this thread. Belkin are better known in computing circles.Who?
I know full well who they are. But when I bought the Supra product I was not in the same county as I am no and there was not an iPhone available.Look at my earlier post in this thread. Belkin are better known in computing circles.
The fuse in the mains plug contains wire.
That wire will be 'stock'.
Surely it will compromise the sound.
You may (rightly) think that is a ridiculous suggestion.
But with the greatest respect, it's no more ridiculous than expecting OFC to make any audible difference to a mains cable.
I see they've even included some medical science in with the claims - before giving an 'Electrical Chock' warning.I bought this cable:
also bought there connectors. Looks like a good cable.
I only connected the drain wire in one end(wall plug) and not both, to prevent ground loop.
Buyers of products like that really are gullible b@stards!I have a solution for that.
I bought one of these for my kettle and my cup of tea tastes that much sweeter.
