Q Acoustics?

Hi,

If you take a look at my topic - http://whathifi.com/forums/t/1450.aspx - you will see that I am looking to setup a sort system where I can listen to my music and be able to watch films with good audio at an affordable price. I have recieved a lot of help from Andrew Everard and I was just wondering if anyone knows wether or not the Q Acoustics 1010 Speakers and the Q Acoustics 1000S would be any good for my needs.

Also any extra advice you could give would be greatly appreciated

Yes, those speakers would be very good. In fact the Q Acou 1010 5.1 package is a bit of a favourite with the WHFSV review crew.

Right I see. Do you think it would be best if I scraped some money together and bought the 5.1 Package instead then?

Well, the package is simply two pairs of 1010s, a 1000C centre and a 1000S, so you could build the system up bit by bit or buy the whole lot in one hit.

I have a set of BR2's and have seen a 1000c on offer, Do you think the pair would match???

Have got my hands on a Sony STRDG820 amp?
