Problems utilising Sony DAV-DZ260 sound system for normal Sky tv viewing

Hi,

Just bought a bravia w4500 and the aformentioned sound system. However, I only have a Sky box - and although i have connected up my DAV to the tv via an HDMI wire (which means im getting good sound for movie viewing), I'm not able to utilise the speakers generally for sky viewing.

I've got a digital coaxial QED wire lying about but cant find a port for it in the tv and obv. not in the Sky box. Furthermore, I have a normal left/right (red/white) audio wire but again - no jacks to plug it into the DAV.

I have no idea how to get this to work, any help much appreciated!

You will need to connect the two together via SCART to pass audio from the sky box to the h/c system.

No. Use an optical digital lead from the TV to the surround sound system. All audio that passes through your TV will then be routed through the DZ260.
