I can't seem to find the root cause of this problem.
When the stylus is lowered, it goes straight to the centre and does not play the record.
We've tried adding weight to the stylus, raising the record, putting weight on the centre of the record, etc. None work.
I do not suspect it's the belt, as the record is spinning freely.
I might have overlooked something really simple, I got this second hand and it was stated as needing a needle replacement, which we've now done, but now have this issue.
Any suggestions welcome!
