Problem with 3.5mm aux input to Aktimate Mini active speakers

I just purchased these speakers and they sound great with my IPod. However when I connect my phone or DAB radio via the 3.5mm aux socket sound only comes out of one speaker, the passive right hand unit. The outputs are in stereo and I have tried a couple of cables. Anyone have any ideas?

If it works fine with the other inputs and you've ruled out the cable, it's likely it's an issue with the Aktimates I would say. That input will output stereo just fine on mine, so it certainly should work.
