I'm looking at speaker cable at futuresho.co.uk

I don't get there prices

Audioquest flx-slip 14/4, 1 meter 2.90/5.80, 2 meters 8.70/11.60, 4 meters 20,30/23.20 and 8 meters 43.50/46.40 (lowest number is the price for the cable and the higest is with delivery which is 2.90, the more you buy the more each meter costs)

With delivery 8 meters costs 46.40 i thought 8x 2.90 is 23.2 and 2.90£ for delivery,(less then 30£), it's not, each meter costs now over 5£ if i want 8 meter, if i wanted 2 meters i would only have payed 4.7 each meter or the price of 3x1 meter and 2.90 for delivery

The price for each meter gets higher the longer cable you want, 1 meter 2.90, 10 meters 55.10, 100 meter 577.10 (delivery always 2.90 for uk, i live in Denmark), i thought each meter gets lower in price if you buy 100 meter compared to the price each meter would costs if you only buy 10 meter, okay you might have to pay a bit more for delivery if you buy 10 meter instead of 2 meter, but that would be okay as long as the price would be 2.90 each meter or lower

I wouldn't buy anything from anybody who offers cable burn in ( at least they don't charge for this BS) option.... don't get overexcited with cable business

Hi gasolin,

I think you may be reading it wrong (unless the website is different in Denmark).

The price is £2.90 for 0.5 metre. The drop down price list shows how much to add on to the original 0.5m cost.

So for 2m it is £2.90 (1x2.9) + £8.70 (3x2.90) = £11.60 (4x2.9) this is for one cable, you will need 2 for a pair of speakers. I don't know how they price for postage to distant lands but it appears to be dependant on the speed of delivery and not the cost of the cable. I have used them several times and found them to be very reliable (in UK).
