Possible distortion on Money - DOTM

I just bought the 40th Anniverasy version of Pink Floyds Dark side of the moon (180gm) NEW.

I gave it a quick spin on Money and was happy until it got to the sax giving it some whelly. I hers a fair bit of what I consider to be distortion.

Is this normal or is it a faukty pressing. I haven't played the full album yet. Its not my equipment as all other vinyl is ok and as I have no other source to compare I am in the dark so to speak. I am not a hardened Pin Floyd fan so I am asking othetrs for their iopinion.

If it is a bad pressing am I with in my rights to ask for a replacement. I bought it from HMV in my High Street and I am not sure what the procedure is for vinly as it can be a bit subjective I would have thought unless they have aeqipment to test it on

P.S. I am using a Rega RP1 with Ortofon OM5e styluss with less than 100 hours use.

Yes of course you are and if the replacement's no good you can ask for your money back or a credit note.

Can you compare to the cd/mp3. On vinly it should only sound slightly different, not in the description of "distortion" anyway.
