I own the said amp & ive never had any of those issues, only when a bomb goes of on the actual film itself. Cant think what it can be? What bluray player do you use?

Hi

If you do a search on the internet with dts hd master audio bitstream bomb you will see that a lot of the first generation of the amplifiers suffered from this a loud bang which would probaly damage your speakers, firmware updates were issued for yamaha and onkyo amplifier with this.

Home cinema choice magazine did a 2 page spread on the problem

pioneer vsx-lx70 was said to not have any issues.

But on differnet forums isolated reports on other models have been mentioned.

So of your experiences of the pioneer vsx-lx70 it works fine?

Thanks

Hi

I like the amplifer a lot, it would would really well with my speakers and have the chance of changing to one, and I have not heard one playing dts hd master audio for long periods and with certain blu rays.

So I would like to know what people have one have experienced with them.
