Pioneer KRP 500 M

I wonder if someone could give me some advice. I was on the verge of purchasing a 5090 when pioneer decided to release the twin box versions of it and the option to purchase just the monitor by itself (KRP 500 M). As I was also intending to purchase a Foxsat Freesat PVR this would seem to be a sensible solution as I wouldn't need the pioneer tuners - is this correct or am I missing something?
