Hi all, My set up is through yamaha amp all works fine, just bought some wireless headphones for xbox, heres the problem, how do i connect volume sensor to audio, i have changed xbox hdmi from going thro amp to go direct to tv i have picture but no volume from tv to connect red/white audio cable, read manual but cant seem to have tv volume, please help?

Let me get this right. So you have connected your XBOX directly to TV via HDMI. The Yamaha amp is not involved a all. Yet you're getting video, but no audio. Is that correct?

Yes, puzzled as to why you don't plug the headphones into the amp?

Yes when i plug xbox into amp all is good, and headphones have been plugged into amp and work for sound but not chat, i presume as headphone jack is output only,

yes when xbox direct to tv video work no audio, the amp is not connected in anyway

Have you checked sound settings in your XBOX & your TV? Does the sound come from your TV when watching channels?

I do not have sound from tv when watching, i used to but got on my nerves when people turned tv volume up and not the amp, so i changed a setting for amp only (i think), But now cant remember how,
