I've just spotted your review of the above. I'm willing to pay £999 for a 32 " TV but not to chuck my money away unnecessarily.

The review says "But for all its strengths, class-leading sets costing several hundred
pounds less can match this set when it comes to performance." Can the review team please advise which sets match the Philips for performance. At the moment I will be viewing SD on Freeview but I would want a TV to be reasonably futureproof.

Hi Mike, I've the 37PFL9604 sinds april. I've bought it for 1040 ? and I'm very pleased with it. Clear and stable image, but its the sound that me convinced me even more!

The image of You-tube-content is very good (only I'm missing a keyboard). The internet-radio-thing is also usefull.

Thanks. I'm wondering whether I would use the internet thingy much. I assume that there is no HD facility available for iplayer stuff.

I've still a bit of time before I have to make a decision re digital and will leave it until after my summer hols.
