please take note that comet are charging to Upgrade to a 3 Year Extra Care Plan for £424.99 NEW FOR 2010 -for the above model and 5 Year ExtraCare Plan £ 579.99. The Curry's group will most probably do likewise SO DO BE CAREFUL. Should you need any type of extended warranty and have to pay for it then your best bet is to get it from panasonic themselves at reduced cost

I'm waiting for the 65 inch being launched and i will be buying from John Lewis who offer a 5 year warranty on every make of TV permanantly and they also say that whatever you purchase from the shop if you it cheaper elsewhere within 28 days of the purchase they will refund the difference. 5 years ago i purchased a 42 inch Panasonic HD ready TV and found out that it was cheaper elsewhere and they refunded me back to my bank account £600.00.
