I had a Panasonic TX-L37 tv connected to my Onkyo 609 and could work the receiver sound with the TV remote. I now have a Panasonic TX-P47 connected to the Onkyo in exactly the same way and although the receiver turns on and off with tv remote it wont work the receiver sound. The home cinema volume bar comes on and goes up and down but does not change the volume. Connections are HDMI arc cable to hdmi 2 on tv and digital optical cable. All hdmi settings are auto.
