Panasonic BS750 v Humax FOXSATHDR

Hi,

I am just about to upgrade my TV experience with a new Sony KDL-32W5500 and complement it with a FreeSat HD box. But I'm torn between the new Panansonic BS750 with blu-ray recorder or the Humax FoxsatHDR and purchase a blu-ray recorder when more are available and prices have dropped. I wondered what WHAT HI*FI would advise/recommend?

Also, do you know if the BS750 records in std DVD format to be played on my portable DVD player?

Hi Putty

I've had my Foxsat HDR for few days and I have to say that I am not at all impressed with the picture quality. I'm thinking of sending it back.
