Panasonic 42g10 suffers 1080p flicker

Im looking for advice

I bought a new panasonic 42 " g10 plasma, I have this hooked up to a virgin + box, a panasonic dvd home theatre system and an xbox 360 .

anyway heres the problem when i am watching a dvd on 1080p or playing games on the xbox 360 on 1080p i get this flicker problem. if you google this you'll get a few videos of this problem.

i have tried using different hdmi cables (both cheap and expensive ones) to see if this was the problem but no luck, although the flicker is not as bad using the expensive cable it is still there.

anyway i think this is something to do with the hdmi setting on the tv . can anyone give me advice on what to try ?

I have the same thing when I use my XBOX 360, if you do a Google search you will find some people have fixed it with a firmware update and some have had to have the TV repaired.
