So that's not the EU version at all, or indeed the BDP-93, but a modified version of the BDP-83SE sold in other markets. Not strictly relevant to the current topic, then - and when I say 'strictly' I mean, of course, 'at all'.

As any schoolboy or Auric Goldfinger would tell you, the Au model would be solid gold. The Se model is the highly prized, and rare Selenium variant .

At least they're clear about it & have indicated the dispatch time. You can choose to wait until the new year (maybe paying 20% VAT instead of the current 17.5%). They're the official Oppo sellers.

Yes, as I mentioned on one of those very threads, we'll try and get one for review. Looks like it'll be available early January, so we'll get onto it then. Looking forward to it!
