just been reading about the onkyo 607,i no its early days but any one no if it will have stereo pre outs.

Not a clue - the one on show at CES is, according to Dolby, a prototype, so even a peer round the back probably wouldn't give any idea of final specification.

No, 606 doesn't either. I think the Yamaha AX763 does though.

Call me an old cynicalboots if you will, but I would be very surprised if the prototype TX-SR607 on show with Dolby at CES is much more than a TX-SR606 with some cosmetic changes to reflect its new model number and PLIIz implementation, or simply a mock-up.
Given how jumpy Onkyo got last time we revealed their new products earlier than they wanted, I'd be very surprised if they've let any cats out of the corporate bag this early in the year.

well i will sit tight and see what happens.im not looking to buy till later this year anyway as my 605 is only a year old i just fancy a stereo amp as well next time.
