Olive O3HD does NOT have digital output [EDIT - New ones do via USB]

:clap: I have had an e-mail from Olive confirming that they will try to contact audiolab to get the necessary information to enable the usb on the olive03hd to be compatible with the audiolab! i can only hope that audiolab provide the information required. i must congratulate olive on there customer service as i have contacted audiolab and what hi-fi and received no help at all!:boohoo:

It seems that things changes... and not for the best ?

I contacted Olive to ask them if the DacMagic Plus was to be supported...

the answer was simple :

"Officially, the O3HD does not support digital USB audio out–we don't supply a list of compatible USB DACs.".

Since I bought the Dacmagic Plus anyway, I can tell you that it doesn't produce any sound at all.

It is strange because if I log into the Olive and use the "aplay -D hw:1,0 anything.wav" command, the sound is successfully played by the Dacmagic Plus.

However, zplayer seems to refuse to send any audio to the DAC.

If somebody has an helpful contact @Olive, I'm interrested in getting in touch with him.
