Ok to leave CD in CD player?

As the subject title says, it is ok to leave a CD in the player when not using it?

I have a Naim Uniti 2 with the magnetic 'puck' so I wondered if leaving the magnet in situ for a long time may damage the mechanism?

I don't see why it should do any arm.

If you are are stickler for 'The Naim Way' then ask in their forum, or read the instructions (it might be mentioned although I don't recall), or call the company.
