Noob connection Q!

Hi All,
I have a Leak Stereo 130 and have purchased, but not yet arrived, a Cambridge Audio MXN10.
I purchased an optical connection cable but am now thinking that's the wrong cable!
The MXN10 has it's own DAC so I presume what I need is an analogue cable to connect the two? Right/wrong?

You can use either. Optical cable will bypass the CXN Dac & use the amp’s built-in chip. A phono cable will use the CXN’s Dac.

I’d wager the CXN has the “better” dac. But I’d recommend trying both & seeing what you prefer.

I reckon there's a chance you're no spring chicken Revo 🤔
'RCA phono' plugs / cables will forever be known as phonos to me - now I wouldn't say I'm old but:
I went up to this girl in a pub last night and said,
"Where have you been all my life darling?"
She said,
Well for the first 40 years I weren't born"
I said,

Wait till you get to 46 it's fast forward after that I'm 66 and wondering where the hell the last 20 years went!
