Noise from blu-ray player.

I have a panasonic bd30 blu-ray player and when playing blu-rays it makes some horrible noises when loading but is alright when the film is playing, but when playing standed dvd or cds it makes no sound. Has anyone else had this problem or is it a fault with my player.

Sounds about right, as it needs to load up info into its hard drive for a BD.

yeah mine does that with some discs
I've expected deep scratches across the disc after some of the noises
but they have been fine
