Hi all,

I've had the Yamaha HTY-760 sound projector for just under a couple of years (it's pretty much the same as the ysp-600) and the other day I switched it on and there was no power getting to it. I did all the usual lead checks, changed the fuse, plugged it into different sockets etc, but it's still dead. So, I was wondering if there's anything else obvious that I do which I've missed, or if it's a repair job. I have no idea how much it costs to get such things repaired and am wondering if it's going to be worth it. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Cheers,

Mikey

Hi Mikey,

I also have the HTY 760 which has stopped working in the same way - did you resolve the issue in the end?

I did - it was just the fuse in the end. I was being a muppet basically. I had a load of trailing cables and I initially changed the fuse of a different plug....Once the correct fuse was changed, it came back to life.
