Newbie advice please!!: Amp upgrade from Rotel??

Hi everyone

I am a newbie and am seeking some advice regarding an amp upgrade. I want something a bit more refined that really brings out the best in the Arcam for around £350-400. My current set up is:

Arcam CD72
Rotel RA-931 Mk II amp
Kef Q15.2 speakers
Chord Calypso gold interconnects
QED cables

The Rotel drives quite punchily through the Arcam/Kef set up but I'm listening less and less to beat driven and bassy music.

Please please does anyone have any recommendations?

What sort of music do you listen to most?

I'd be tempted to go for a pre/integrated and power amp option to get the best.
