I'm not going to advise on turntables at the end of the day it's just a platter spinning around, but as far as isolation is concerned, which is probably more the issue you need to deal with. I'm using the iso acoustics indigo orea under my Avid ingenium turntable with great effect, my turntable is in the living room and we have floorboards /carpet, when my wife walks past the turntable (without even a hint of tiptoe or light footed-ness) the cartridge would jump a couple of times, after installing the iso acoustics....not a jump, wobble or anything, the Avid ingenium also has large Sorbothane padded feet which might also be advantageous....just something to consider along with a new turntable if it doesn't happen to have it's own suspension system.
why all today say it´s just a platter to spin the records so Thorens, Garrard and many other brands were wrong a badly built lightened thing is better than a thik platter made of aluminium as 40 years of development(this ´till 1979)were for nothing,
buying, as i bought in the 80´s two turntables (Technics SL-M1 and Pioneer PL-707) and one in the 90´s (thorenz TD2001) all are in need or repair but i´m using either than the two new ones, all that i already had in 1979.
to be more acurate i have a 77 technics with the 207C cartridge that refuses to stop working and releases a, perfect sound from the records played there no matter the grroves being tighter or larger inbetween them, and the old turntables are bad , for the brands
as they work perfect for more than 50 years and while they work ,the brands will sell only some that started to play vinil records and they say" i do it because of the ritual"
a Pl-100 from pioneer is excatelly the same as the TD2001 by thorens, personalized . Everyone in the world was wrong only today one really knows that the cheapest turntable reproduces the same sound as the Nagra aniversary edition,
cartridges, we have the 2m red the best of all times and they used to say "the black is the best !" sponsered by Ortofon (but Ortofon i know it at least since 1977 so how can they be good if they are old technology)
and i read "obvioully we need a suspenction" , so what in reality is needed ,
a rega arm was told that was very good ,i looked at it and thought the anti-skating in it was a really badly done, built with plastic parts and not acurate at all , if not just bought now, what about the cheese IKEA board of wood why is seen all around the world,
rooms are so tight that one would need a shelf to put the turntable, it´s the future today ,
but if some turntables cost 500.000€ or more i think isn´t incorrect to say that they are good because if they keep being released it´s only because some do buy them(dubai), so i´m still thinking if what i used to know is at all correct? please teach me, i want to know how to read my vinil records that after colecting for 40 years plus my father´s collection ,
what can i use to play them, i have already 56 turntables that were considered good or very good but it seems that they are old and bad? am i going to buy a debut from Pro-Ject and get what no excelent turntable could do more than 40 years ago?
wasn´t vinil a thing of the past, graphics showed prove that cds have better sound, more dynamic but why they sound so bad compared to the vinil version , i can´t buy more cd players ,have enough what am i missing has it seems i´m always wrong.

this were my two last systems i assembled in a dinning room in my family house because my mother lives there and she´s old but i staying there at night i had to have music but a litle room only ,having what i call a colection i opened some boxes and found this ,some speakers are not even conected but in my two persons couch both systems sound good to me, with i have to admit , badly positioned speakers, B&W, Mission, JBL and Pioneer, others aren´t conected, the laptop is there because i have spotify and at home i have a streamer and if you notice a big cable from the system on the bottom is to connect to it ,a independent system, to the laptop. there is the left one and the right one, in the midle is my new smart tv ,a LG one but not seen
