Not sure about that one. Someimtes you need to do a refresh after you've logged in for it to know for sure. We're about to change the 'online' bulb to green so it should be more obvious!

Don't know - what browser were you using?

I'd always suggest changing to Firefox. Though I haven't looked at IE9 personally (since it doesn't work on any work computers - will need to install on my own laptop :~)

No, the user name link always linked to, well, the user. The 'Last Reply' link linked to the last reply. We're working on making that a bit easier to navigate, but doubt we'll get there 100%: however, there's always the '## new' link, which takes you the most recent posts in a thread.

I have to disable rich text after typing before i hit save otherwise it says Comment field is required. If i make a spelling mistake during typing i have to press

i have to press backspace and delete everything until i get to the mistake and type all over again.

Hi John, :~ I am using IE8 and again had to disable rich-text to reply to you.Nuisance because I lose the toolbar with Bold.underline etc.never had this problem previously. Thanks mate.

Except it didn't, it would only take you to the top of the page that the last reply was on and that was on every browser and OS that I ever tried. Must admit that was about the only thing that annoyed me about the old forum, no complaints about the new one, other than not having page numbers at the top of the page.

Yes that annoys me too (which means it'll get fixed quicker). Some layout changes coming today, the rest may have to wait until after some more pressing site-wide issues.

What kind of computer (Mac/PC/??), which internet browser software (eg Firefox/Google Chrome/Safari/Internet Explorer?), and if possible which version (eg Internet Explorer 8 or whatever).

That info helps us replicate and if possible eliminate the problem.

I know that Andrew Everard has had the last comment here but all i can see is the last post that i have done, veeeery strange
