I'm awaiting arrival of my EB1s and I'm trying to decide on a new amp. My sources will be my computer through a DacMagic and a Project Xpression III turntable. My living room is quite small and hence I won't need great volumes.
I don't have the oppertunity to demo as the amps I have my eye on don't seem to be stocked at my local HiFi shops. I have sold - off my old Denon stereo receiver (DRA-375 RDS, orig cost £250) as I would like an upgrade in sound quality.
My eye is on a NAD 326 Bee because it essentially seems to have eveything I would like in terms of features but I wonder if this would only be a sideways step rather than an upgrade from my old Denon. I would consider stretching the budget to £500 if I thought it could be worth it. At this price range my eye is on the NAD 356 Bee or the Creek Evo 2. There doesn't seem to much in reviews for the Creek so I am undecided.
Could anyone suggest which might be better?
