NEED HELP WITH BLU-RAY

Just downloaded a firmware update from the Sharp us site for the BD-HP20,any idea if I should apply this for my uk player?Sharp don`t seem to know what I`m talking about,cheers folks.

Hi bud,think it was just the general customer service team,tried again today,waiting for them to ring back now.On a different post,Andy Everard recommended not doing it until a european update is available as I may make the machine able to play us discs only.If you get any joy with the Sharp team,please let us know.On a different note,Movietyme.com has 121 HDDVD`S from 7.99 each,just trying to organize some funds to get some.Take care.
