I don't think the RA Silencer could improve audio quality, my best guess is it might remove the pop when appliances come on?

If you hover over a user's name to the left of their post, you will see stats, including when the user last visited. Alas in this case the user hasn't been here post this thread, so I suspect you won't get a reply.

I've been ploughing through the Culture novels this year - up to The Hydrogen Sonata once more. Not sure I have an absolute favourite, but Surface Detail might just be it - might just be my favourite book, too.
