I've been ploughing through the Culture novels this year - up to The Hydrogen Sonata once more. Not sure I have an absolute favourite, but Surface Detail might just be it - might just be my favourite book, too.

So all the box does is add noise, what a surprise… Not!
Think of all the money you can save, by just using a piece of wire to achieve a similer effect.

Further to the above. I can make wooden boxes, £20 + the cost of your choice of wood. I’ll leave the lid loose so, you can add your own choice of special piece of wire, to sit inside it…
