My 1 month old LG plasma has a fault

Hello guys

I purchased an LG50PK590 plasma a month ago and its faulty already,Does anybody else have this tv and has experienced any problems.It has a white line(1 inch wide) on the left hand side from top to bottom.It came on last night for around 6 hours,It happened once before but went after turning the tv off,Have spoken to comet who will only send an engineer out first,Hoping to get it replaced as the person i spoke to said its most likely a screen fault,

When you get a coloured line down the screen, that does indicate a screen fault and being only 1 month old, i would definately get it replaced. If you leave it for too long, then you may find that they will repair it instead with a new screen maybe, which is what you dont want.

The engineer will come out and tell you what they will do. I had my old tv insured with currys, procedure was good but time consuming. Worrying me as i have a LG Plasma...
